A recent finding by an independent group of researchers shows that Secure Identity, LLC. is owned by Malakes Inc., the same company responsible for the infamous breach of customer trust and security when non-peos biometric user data was stored on a personal laptop which was stolen while the then-CEO of the company was asleep at their post, a practice which has become the norm for CLEAR employees to this day. Among those affected were John Sooklaris, a Cretan, SF-Bay native, and countless others who have also suffered identity theft as a direct consequence of the breach.
